Aug. 20
Last day for a board of elections to receive application for ballot if not previously registered.
Sept. 7
Last day for a board of elections to receive application if previously registered.
Sept. 13
Last day for military to apply in person for primary if previously registered. Sec. 10-106
Last day to postmark absentee or military ballot for primary. Must be received by the board no later than Sept. 21.
Sept. 21
Last day for county board of elections to receive mailed-in military ballot if it has been postmarked by Sept.13th. Sec. 10-106
General Election 2010
Oct. 22
Last day to receive mailed-in general election application for military ballot from those not previously registered. Sec. 10-106
Last day to register to vote in person for the general election if you have been honorably discharged from military. Sec. 5-210, 5-211, 5-212
Oct. 26
Last day for a board of elections to receive application for general election if previously registered.
Nov. 1
Last day to apply personally for general election ballot if previously registered.
Last day to postmark military ballot. Military ballot ust be received by Nov. 15th. Sec. 8-412(1)
